These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the window cleaning services provided by A&B Window Cleaning ("A&B Window Cleaning," "we," "us," or "our") and your use of our website at abwindow-cleaning.com. By requesting a quote, booking a service, or using our website, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Our Services

A&B Window Cleaning provides professional exterior window cleaning for residential and commercial properties across Hull and the wider South Shore of Massachusetts. The specific services to be performed will be described in the quote we provide to you. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service for any property where conditions are unsafe, inaccessible, or otherwise unsuitable in our reasonable judgment.

2. Quotes and Estimates

Quotes are estimates based on the information you provide and the conditions we observe. The final price may be adjusted if the actual scope, size, access, or condition of the property differs materially from what was described. We will discuss any significant change with you before proceeding. Unless stated otherwise, a quote is valid for 30 days from the date it is provided.

3. Booking and Scheduling

Service is scheduled by mutual agreement. We will make reasonable efforts to arrive within any agreed time window, but arrival times are estimates and may be affected by weather, traffic, or the duration of prior appointments. You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the areas to be serviced.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We do not charge a fee for cancellations, rescheduling, or missed appointments. We simply ask that you give us as much notice as you reasonably can so we can adjust our schedule and offer the time to another customer.

5. Weather

Because we work outdoors, weather can affect scheduling. If conditions make it unsafe or impractical to complete the work, we will reschedule your appointment for the next suitable date at no additional charge.

6. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of the work, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. We accept cash, check, PayPal, and Venmo. We do not accept credit or debit cards. If a payment is not received when due, you agree to pay any reasonable costs we incur in collecting the amount owed.

7. Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with the quality of a completed cleaning, notify us within 7 days of the service and we will return to re-clean the affected windows at no additional charge. This re-clean is our sole obligation and your sole remedy under our satisfaction guarantee. The guarantee covers the quality of the cleaning itself and does not cover new dirt, water spots, pollen, salt spray, or other soiling that occurs after we leave.

8. Property Access and Your Responsibilities

To help us do our best work safely, you agree to:

Provide clear and safe access to the windows and surrounding areas, including unlocking gates and moving vehicles where needed.
Remove or secure fragile, valuable, or obstructing items near the work area.
Secure pets and inform us of any hazards on the property.
Tell us in advance about any windows that are cracked, loose, painted shut, improperly installed, or otherwise in fragile or unusual condition.

9. Pre-Existing Conditions and Damage

Windows, screens, frames, seals, and surrounding surfaces can have pre-existing conditions that are not always visible before or during cleaning, including cracked or weakened glass, failed or fogged seals, deteriorated glazing, loose or rotted frames, hard-water mineral staining, and oxidation. A&B Window Cleaning is not responsible for damage that results from such pre-existing conditions. Where we notice a condition that concerns us, we will do our best to point it out and may decline to clean that item. We are responsible only for damage caused directly by our own negligence.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, A&B Window Cleaning's total liability arising out of or relating to our services or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless A&B Window Cleaning from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms, your failure to disclose a known hazard or pre-existing condition, or your misuse of our website.

12. Photography and Marketing

We may photograph completed work, including before-and-after images, for use in our portfolio, website, and marketing. These images show the work itself and do not include identifying personal information. If you would prefer that we not photograph your property, simply let us know before the service and we will honor your request.

13. Website Use

The content on abwindow-cleaning.com is provided for general information and is owned by or licensed to A&B Window Cleaning. You may not copy, reproduce, or use it for commercial purposes without our permission. We make reasonable efforts to keep the site accurate but do not guarantee it is error-free or continuously available.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or our services will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services or website after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
